Eine Insel mit geheimnisvollen Strukturen. Seit 1864 versuchen sich Generationen von Schatzsuchern als Glücksritter. Man vermutet einen Piratenschatz, oder den Beweis der wahren Urheberschaft fälschlicherweise William Shakespeare zugeschriebener Werke. Eine Legende besagt, dass der Schatz erst gehoben werden kann, wenn sieben Schatzsucher beim Versuch ums Leben gekommen sind. Sechs sind schon tot.

Oak Island (dt. „Eicheninsel“) ist eine von etwa 350 Inseln in der Mahone Bay an der Ostküste von Nova Scotia, Kanada. Zahlreiche Legenden ranken sich um einen angeblichen Schatz auf der Insel.
